Snorkel in an Icelandic hot spring
Snorkel in bubbling icelandic hot springs on our unique tour of stunning volcanic Lake Kleifarvatn. Just 30 minutes outside of Reykjavik, the underwater hot springs are about 50 meters swim from the shore. When you enter the lake, you can see the white and yellow sulfur deposits, and feel the gas emanating from below the lake’s floor. Snorkeling in icelandic hot springs is like swimming in a glass of Champagne!
Freshen up and check out an active geothermal area.
Once back on land, we’ll enjoy some refreshments before heading to Seltún, a geothermal area where you can walk along boiling mud pots and colorful sulfur deposits. We highly recommend that you bring your swimsuit with you as we can drop you off at one of Reykjavík’s local geothermal pools where you can relax in the hot tubs and end the day in traditional Icelandic fashion.
