Cancellations

  • If you cancel your tour 24 hours before departure we will fully refund your ticket.
  • Less than 24 hours prior, tours are nonrefundable.

If you wish to change your reservation we kindly ask that you give us advance notice, we are very flexible and will help with any alterations or changes you would like to make.

We offer refunds if the tour does not operate at all during your stay here in Iceland. No refunds are given if you join a tour where there are no sightings, however, as a compromise, we offer another free ticket to try again – if the tour operates again during your stay (if not you can use it next time in Iceland). You will, however, get a chance to join the boat tour next available day for free, and if that is not possible due to weather or your travel arrangements we offer you the chance when next in Iceland.

All our tours are weather dependent and may be subject to cancellations. Our captains will make their decisions based on many years of experience and always keeping in mind our passenger safety and comfort. In case of cancellations due to unfavorable weather conditions, you will receive a full refund (if you have already joined the tour and have a free ticket to try again the refund policy does not apply).

All our tours depart from Reykjavik’s Old Harbor (location) and the departure time is indicated on your voucher/confirmation. We ask that all our passengers arrive at least 20 minutes before departure for check-in and boarding (recommended time is 30 minutes to be safe). If your tour does not sight a whale, we offer you another ticket for free – same goes for the northern lights tours if you don’t see any lights you can join us again next day available for free!

This free ticket can be used during your stay here, and if the tour does not operate again you are welcome to use it again next time you are in Iceland! We have had 100% success on our Puffin Watching, however, if there ever comes a day where you won’t see a puffin, we will offer you another free tour!
